Clara S\u00e1nchez-Dehesa (Espa\u00f1a)<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"Formada en conservaci\u00f3n y restauraci\u00f3n de documento gr\u00e1fico y fotograf\u00eda, Clara S\u00e1nchez-Dehesa se especializa en preservaci\u00f3n de Patrimonio audiovisual en el programa de la Selznick School de Rochester. Ya en Espa\u00f1a, ha combinado su trabajo en gestora de proyectos de preservaci\u00f3n y digitalizaci\u00f3n, como en la difusi\u00f3n y formaci\u00f3n en esta materia. Como parte de su faceta profesional independiente, ha trabajo para instituciones p\u00fablicas, como la Filmoteca de Navarra, y privadas, as\u00ed como ha desarrollado proyectos propios de recuperaci\u00f3n y difusi\u00f3n de cine dom\u00e9stico, desde La Red de Cine Dom\u00e9stico. En su faceta formativa, ha desarrollado cursos de introducci\u00f3n a la preservaci\u00f3n f\u00edlmica en diversos niveles acad\u00e9micos, y es Coordinadora, adem\u00e1s de profesora, de la especialidad de Archivo en el m\u00e1ster de la El\u00edas Querejeta Zine Eskola en San Sebasti\u00e1n (Espa\u00f1a), desde su inauguraci\u00f3n en 2018.<\/p>\n

Having studied conservation and restoration of graphic documents and photography, Clara S\u00e1nchez-Dehesa specializes in preservation of audiovisual heritage at the Selznick School of Rochester program. In Spain, she works both as a manager of preservation and digitalization projects, as well as promoting and providing training in this field. She has also worked for public institutions, such as the Filmoteca de Navarra, and other private institutions, while developing her own projects for the recovery and distribution of home films, through La Red de Cine Dom\u00e9stico. In her formative role, she has carried out introductory courses on film preservation at various academic levels, and is coordinator, as well as professor, of the Archive specialization in the master’s program at the El\u00edas Querejeta Zine Eskola in San Sebasti\u00e1n (Spain), since its inauguration in 2018.<\/em><\/p>\n

Micaela Sol\u00e9 (Uruguay)<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"Egres\u00f3 como Realizadora Cinematogr\u00e1fica de la Escuela de Cine del Uruguay. Hizo varios cursos de postgrado en Cuba y Espa\u00f1a. Desde 1999 trabaja como productora independiente para varias compa\u00f1\u00edas dentro y fuera de Uruguay. En 2007 co-fund\u00f3 Cord\u00f3n Films para desarrollar proyectos cinematogr\u00e1ficos, trabajo que lleva adelante con esp\u00edritu artesanal, intentando encontrar lo singular de cada uno de los procesos creativos en los que colabora. Los m\u00e1s de veinte proyectos que lleva producidos han sido estrenados y premiados en festivales como Berl\u00edn, Toronto, Locarno y San Sebasti\u00e1n, entre muchos otros. Ha sido docente, jurado y tutora de proyectos en diversos espacios nacionales e internacionales. M\u00e1s recientemente ha retomado la realizaci\u00f3n de proyectos desde el rol de direcci\u00f3n, encontr\u00e1ndose en este momento en etapa de preparaci\u00f3n de su cortometraje Los ciclos.<\/p>\n

She graduated as a Filmmaker from the Uruguayan Film School. She took several postgraduate courses in Cuba and Spain. Since 1999 she has worked as an independent producer for several companies within and outside Uruguay. In 2007 she co-founded Cord\u00f3n Films to produce different film projects, a work she carries out with a craftsman spirit, trying to find the singularity of each of the creative processes in which she collaborates. She has produced more than twenty projects, many of which have premiered and won awards at festivals such as Berlin, Toronto, Locarno and San Sebastian, among many others. She has been a teacher, jury member and tutor of projects in various local and international centers. More recently she has returned to directing, and is currently in the development stage of her short film “Los ciclos”.<\/em><\/p>\n

Pablo Dotta (Uruguay)<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"Licenciado en sociolog\u00eda y director de cine, es considerado uno de los referentes de la cinematograf\u00eda uruguaya. Ha obtenido por sus proyectos premios y becas internacionales (Fundaci\u00f3n Rockefeller, USA; Centre International Creation Video, Francia, Escuela Internacional de Cine y TV, Cuba; Ibermedia, ICAU, Centre National de Cin\u00e9ma, Francia, etc.). Entre sus trabajos cinematogr\u00e1ficos destacan el cortometraje Tahit\u00ed y el largometraje El Dirigible, con los cuales ha recibido premios internacionales (Coral Festival de La Habana, seleccionado en la \u201cSemaine de la Critique\u201d del Festival de Cannes, entre otros). Ha dirigido el largometraje documental Jam\u00e1s le\u00ed a Onetti, difundido por Televisi\u00f3n Espa\u00f1ola. Se desempe\u00f1a tambi\u00e9n como director en el campo publicitario y es fot\u00f3grafo independiente. Asimismo, ha realizado varias piezas de video-danza y publicado diversos art\u00edculos sobre la creaci\u00f3n audiovisual en diferentes medios de Am\u00e9rica Latina y Europa, y es docente de realizaci\u00f3n cinematogr\u00e1fica.<\/p>\n

A sociology graduate and film director, he is considered one of the leading figures in the Uruguayan cinema. He has won international awards for his projects (Fundaci\u00f3n Rockefeller, USA; Centre International Creation Video, France; Escuela Internacional de Cine y TV, Cuba; Ibermedia, ICAU; Centre National de Cin\u00e9ma, France; etc.). His films include the short “Tahiti” and the feature “El Dirigible”, for which he has received international awards (Coral Prize at La Habana Film Festival, selected at the “Semaine de la Critique” of the Cannes Film Festival, among others). He has directed the feature documentary “Jam\u00e1s le\u00ed a Onetti”, distributed by Televisi\u00f3n Espa\u00f1ola. He also works as a director in advertising and is a freelance photographer. Additionally, he has made several video-dance pieces and published several articles on audiovisual creation in various outlets in Latin America and Europe, as well as teaching filmmaking.<\/em><\/p>\n

Bel\u00e9n Abell\u00e1 (Facultad de Informaci\u00f3n y Comunicaci\u00f3n \u2013 Universidad de la Rep\u00fablica)<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"Particip\u00f3 de \u201cPlaylist: al interior\u201d, en la producci\u00f3n period\u00edstica y redacci\u00f3n del cap\u00edtulo \u201cRev\u00f3lver\u201d. Realiz\u00f3 m\u00faltiples cortos documentales para diferentes asignaturas en la FIC, desde los roles de c\u00e1mara y\/o direcci\u00f3n. Entre ellos, una serie de cortos para la EMAD. Fue asistente de c\u00e1mara e iluminaci\u00f3n de \u201cDebate en la Universidad\u201d, ciclo organizado por la Udelar y TV Ciudad en 2022. Ese mismo a\u00f1o finaliz\u00f3 la etapa de rodajes de su Trabajo de Grado. Actualmente se encuentra realizando una pasant\u00eda en el sector audiovisual de la Divisi\u00f3n Informaci\u00f3n y Comunicaci\u00f3n de la Intendencia de Montevideo.<\/p>\n

She participated in “Playlist: al interior”, in the journalistic production and writing of the chapter “Rev\u00f3lver”. She made several short documentaries for different subjects at the FIC (Udelar), both directing and\/or in the camera department. Among them, a series of short films for the EMAD. She was camera and lighting assistant for “Debate en la Universidad”, a series organized by Udelar and TV Ciudad in 2022. That same year she finished shooting her thesis. She is currently doing an internship in the audiovisual sector of the Information and Communication Division of the Municipality of Montevideo.<\/em><\/p>\n

Luc\u00eda Parrilla (Universidad ORT Uruguay)<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"Tiene 20 a\u00f1os y se encuentra cursando el tercer a\u00f1o de la Licenciatura en Comunicaci\u00f3n Audiovisual en la Universidad ORT. Comenz\u00f3 la carrera en 2021, y ese mismo a\u00f1o particip\u00f3 en el Taller de Cinematograf\u00eda a cargo del director y guionista Gabriel D\u00edaz. Un a\u00f1o despu\u00e9s, curs\u00f3 el Taller de Guion para series y TV del guionista y dramaturgo Fernando Schmidt. Adem\u00e1s, junto con sus compa\u00f1eras de facultad, concurs\u00f3 en el Festival Detour dentro de la categor\u00eda estudiantil, el primer concurso de guion y cortos de una sola toma, resultando finalistas en \u00e9ste \u00faltimo. Gracias a las herramientas aprendidas en la Universidad, se encuentra constantemente participando y experimentando en producciones estudiantiles que le ayudan a ganar experiencia en el medio.<\/p>\n

She is 20 years old and is currently in the third year of her Audiovisual Communication degree at Universidad ORT. She began her studies in 2021, and in that same year she participated in the Filmmaking Workshop led by director and screenwriter Gabriel D\u00edaz. A year later, she took a Scriptwriting Workshop for series and TV offered by screenwriter and playwright Fernando Schmidt. In addition, along with her classmates, she competed in the Festival Detour in the student category, the first script and single-shot short film contest, and finished as a runner-up in the latter. With the resources she learned at the University, she is constantly participating and experimenting in student productions that help her gain experience in the medium.<\/em><\/p>\n

Francisco Touya (Escuela de Cine del Uruguay)<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"Naci\u00f3 en Montevideo en el a\u00f1o 2001. Actualmente cursa el segundo a\u00f1o de la Carrera de Realizaci\u00f3n Cinematogr\u00e1fica en la ECU. Ha participado en diversos cortometrajes en \u00e1reas relacionadas a la direcci\u00f3n y al montaje.<\/p>\n
