The photography, the interplay of scale in the staging, and the craftsmanship of the makeup are notable, reinforcing its fantastical world.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Among the beasts <\/strong>\u2013 directed by Luchino Paparella \u2013 INSAS (Belgium)<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>BEST LATIN AMERICAN SHORT FILM:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Best Latin American Short Film Award: <\/strong>for creating, through a unique staging, a safe and intimate space of memory, where the protagonists share their most difficult experiences with deep complicity;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Una casa <\/strong>\u2013 directed by Agust\u00edn Moras \u2013 ENERC (Argentina)<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>BEST URUGUAYAN SHORT FILM<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p><strong>First Prize: <\/strong>for showing how, through art and expression, a path to transformation can be found. It highlights its commitment to breaking the social stigma surrounding the prison population through a sensitive, humane, and non-condescending approach.
